Grade H13/ 1.2344 ESR

Grade H13, also known as 1.2344, is one of the most widely used hot-work tool steels globally. The ESR refined variant, commonly referred to as Durah 61, is a premium, high-performance grade produced using advanced remelting and refining processes to enhance purity, microstructure, and overall performance.

Durah 61 offers significantly improved toughness, cleanliness, and high-temperature strength compared to conventional H13 steel. It belongs to the chromium-molybdenum-vanadium family and is specifically engineered to withstand extreme heat, pressure, and mechanical stress in demanding industrial environments.

Tool Steel

This grade maintains excellent hardness and strength even at temperatures of 600–650°C, making it highly reliable for continuous hot-working applications. Its superior resistance to thermal fatigue and shock reduces the risk of cracking during rapid heating and cooling cycles.

Due to its refined structure, Durah 61 provides longer die life, improved wear resistance, and better performance under high-pressure and abrasive conditions. It is widely preferred in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and aluminum processing.
