Grade M35

Grade M35 is a premium cobalt-bearing high-speed steel (HSS) designed for demanding cutting, drilling, milling, and machining applications. With the addition of approximately 5% cobalt, M35 offers enhanced hot hardness, strength, and wear resistance compared to standard M2 high-speed steel.

This improved composition allows M35 to maintain its cutting performance at elevated temperatures up to 650–700°C, making it ideal for high-speed machining of tough materials such as stainless steel and alloy steels. It ensures consistent cutting efficiency without loss of hardness or tool deformation.

Tool Steel

M35 combines excellent wear resistance with good toughness, reducing the risk of chipping and breakage during heavy-duty or interrupted cutting operations. This makes it highly reliable for precision tooling and industrial applications requiring durability and long service life.

Due to its superior performance, M35 is widely used in tool-making, automotive, aerospace, and heavy engineering industries where high-speed cutting and long tool life are essential.
